Job description

Assistant Professor of Medicine, Cardiac Imaging Noninvasive Cardiologist (3 positions available)

Position located in Huntington, West Virginia at Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care as a primary site provider, establishing and leading a Cardiac MRI program.
  • Rotate at two hospitals and one clinic site within the Huntington area.
  • Participate in a 1:6 call schedule, weekends only, with call shared among attendings and fellows.
  • Teach formally and informally to 12 cardiology fellows, residents, and medical students.
  • Engage in collaborative research with translational and biomedical science programs.
Qualifications

Must be able to perform all essential job duties as outlined in the job description.

Required: Education and experience in cardiology with subspecialty in non‑invasive cardiac imaging.

Preferred: Prior experience developing a Cardiac MRI program or similar imaging service.
