Skilled Personal Care Specialist | Weekends | San Diego North County

"Your weekdays are yours. Your weekends could change someone's life and we'll make it worth your while."

We're a compassionate in-home care agency serving families throughout San Diego North County. Weekends are some of the most meaningful, and most needed, shifts in caregiving. We're looking for a reliable, skilled caregiver who takes pride in showing up and delivering exceptional, person-centered care when families need it most.

What You'll Do
  • Provide skilled personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
  • Perform safe transfers and mobility assistance using proper body mechanics and assistive equipment
  • Support clients living with Alzheimer's, dementia, and other cognitive conditions using dignity-first, person-centered techniques
  • Assist with meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping
  • Offer genuine companionship and emotional support that honors each client's independence and individuality
 
What We're Looking For
  • Consistent weekend availability: Saturday and/or Sunday shifts
  • 1+ year of in-home caregiving or similar hands-on experience
  • Demonstrated experience with transfers, lifts, and safe mobility assistance
  • Experience supporting clients with dementia or Alzheimer's (strongly preferred)
  • Valid California Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration and current TB test
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before start)
  • Reliable transportation and valid California driver's license
  • Dependable, warm, and professional — clients and families count on you
