Job description

Eden Health Care is looking to hire for a  Weekend Admissions Coordinator position.

Responsibilities: to place admissions for 7 Nursing Homes during weekend hours, Friday 5pm- Sunday evening.

  • Will oversee all admissions to facility
  • Build and form partnerships with referral sources
  • answer all referrals timely and facilitate admissions off hours to the Nursing Homes
  • use facility email to communicate to weekend staff and management team
  • verify insurance when needed 
  • upload appropriate admission documents 

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Long Term Care
  • Strong ability to work independently
  • Preferred experience with MediTech, AllScripts and insurance portals preferred
  • Ability to build rapport with clients

Requirements

  • Previous admissions experience 
  • Valid drivers license
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Must possess excellent communication skills
