Cook - Weekends Only
*This is a weekend position (Friday Night and Saturday day or night shift). It will also provide days during the week if needed.* Must be able to work most Saturdays.
Arctic Circle is looking for a Cook to join our amazing team! We hire team players with fun personalities who enjoy working with others. This position is fast-paced and requires attention to detail. If you are someone who can multi-task, who takes pride in their work, who enjoys learning new things, can follow instructions, and works well in a fast-moving environment then this is the job for you. We pride ourselves on exceptional service and expect nothing less from our cooks. Our great tasting, premium quality food is why we are "where the good stuff is"!
Characteristics of a great Cook:
Projects a professional appearance and a positive attitude at all times in the restaurant
Makes both food safety and sanitation a priority
Is able to learn and hustle in a team environment
Is a self-starter and can multi-task
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Demonstrate a complete understanding of menu items and recipes
Understand and adhere to proper food handling, safety and sanitation guidelines
Prepare food neatly, according to recipe, and in a timely manner
Present quality products at all times and maintain a neat and clean work area
Maintain adequately stocked workstations, restocking as needed
Attend special meetings as scheduled by the Restaurant Manager
