Locums Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician in Picayune, Mississippi - Low Volume, Weekend Call

Provide labor and delivery coverage with a manageable patient census and an offsite call model. This assignment offers predictable weekend coverage with bread-and-butter OB cases.

Practice & Cases


  • Inpatient labor and delivery coverage
  • Approximately 25-30 deliveries per month, including 7-10 C-sections
  • Bread-and-butter obstetrics with occasional emergency gynecology consults
  • Support from an OB nurse, pediatrician, and CRNA

Schedule


  • Weekend coverage blocks with 24-hour offsite call
  • Must remain within 30 minutes of the facility while on call
  • Optional onsite call room available
  • Additional coverage opportunities may become available

Requirements


  • Must be an MD or DO
  • Active Mississippi medical license or active Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Letter of Qualification
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
