Job Description
As a Local Yard Driver with Lazer Logistics, you will stay in one location for your entire shift. No traffic, no long routes, and no multiple stops. Instead, you focus on moving trailers within the yard in a safe, controlled environment.
This is one of the most consistent and predictable jobs available. You know where you are going, what you are doing, and when your day starts and ends.If you are looking for a job that offers consistency, predictability, and a better day-to-day driving experience, this is it!t.
What You Can Expect
  • Home daily with a consistent schedule
  • Limited road driving or highway traffic

Pay and Benefits
  • $22.00 per hour starting pay
  • $2.00 shift differential (dependent on hours)

  • Move trailers within the yard and between dock doors
  • Perform drop and hook operations
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies
  • Communicate with dispatch and yard personnel
  • Maintain accurate logs and documentation
Requirements
  • Valid License
  • Safe driving record
  • Experience operating tractor-trailers
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Ability to get in and out of the truck throughout the shift
