Location: Alturas, CA 

Job Type: Contract

Pay Rate : $2,300 To $2,600 per week

Contract: 13 Weeks

Schedule: Evening Shift | 8-Hour Shifts | Weekday & Weekend Call Rotation

Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Per Week

Experience: Minimum 5 Years Required

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced CT / X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week contract position in Alturas, California. This dual-modality role supports a Critical Access Hospital and requires hands-on experience performing both Computed Tomography (CT) and diagnostic X-Ray procedures.

The technologist will provide imaging services across the X-Ray department, fluoroscopy, portable radiography, Emergency Department, and CT while participating in a shared weekday and weekend call rotation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic CT and X-Ray examinations according to established imaging protocols and safety standards.

  • Provide fluoroscopy, portable X-Ray, Emergency Department imaging, and CT services as assigned.

  • Prepare and position patients appropriately while obtaining accurate, high-quality diagnostic images.

  • Maintain accurate imaging documentation and workflow using Cerner.

  • Participate in weekday and weekend call rotation and required holiday coverage.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 Years of Radiologic Technology Experience Required.

  • Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Certificate in Radiography Required.

  • Current California Fluoroscopy Certificate Required.

  • Current ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) Certifications Required.

  • Current BLS/BCLS Certification Required.

The CT / X-Ray Technologist will provide safe, accurate, and efficient diagnostic imaging services across radiography, fluoroscopy, and computed tomography.
