Job description

Position Title: Wire Cutter
Pay Range: $20-$23 per hour
We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Wire Cutter to join a fast-paced electrical distribution warehouse team. This role is responsible for pulling, measuring, and cutting wire and cable to customer specifications, preparing completed orders, and maintaining accurate, organized inventory while following established safety procedures.
The ideal candidate brings 2-3+ years of warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or material-handling experience, preferably working with wire, cable, or electrical products. Reliability, attention to detail and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
  • Pull wire and cable from warehouse inventory according to customer orders and product specifications
  • Measure and cut wire to precise lengths using wire-cutting machinery and equipment
  • Verify wire type, size, quantity, and measurements before completing each order
  • Coil, bundle, label, and package finished wire for customer pickup or delivery
  • Move, organize and maintain wire inventory while communicating any discrepancies
  • Inspect completed orders for accuracy and quality and assist with staging and loading as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following proper material-handling and safety procedures
  • Collaborate with warehouse associates, sales representatives, drivers, and other team members to keep orders moving efficiently
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2-3+ years of relevant warehouse, distribution, manufacturing or material-handling experience
  • Previous experience working with wire, cable or electrical products strongly preferred
  • Ability to safely operate wire-cutting machinery and related warehouse equipment
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately read orders, specifications and measurements
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality with a consistent work history
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physical and team-oriented warehouse environment
