Responsible for the development of new cable; design, manufacturing instructions and testing and supporting the ongoing transition to production. Provide technical support to sales, quality control, and customers. Marmon Aerospace & Defense Group is a trusted provider of high-performance wire & cable, cable assembly, fiber optic, and connectivity solutions for the world’s most demanding applications. Harbour Industries is the global leader in product engineering and manufacturing of high temperature and high-performance cable. Our product and process engineering expertise ensures the highest quality products manufactured to precise customer specifications.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop cables based on customer requirements.
  • Establish relationships with key engineers at customers.
  • Review customer drawings to determine if performance characteristics are achievable.
  • Create Harbour drawings.
  • Review routers relating to new product builds and maintenance of existing products.
  • Prepare and implement developmental plans when required.
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing.
  • Review cost estimations prepared by Design Specialists and designing with cost considered.
  • Evaluate new raw materials, methods and equipment.
  • Prepare routers.
  • Create purchasing specs as needed.
  • Selection and installation of the appropriate equipment for data collection.
  • Evaluate and verify the accuracy of test data, provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Interface with customers’ engineering personnel.
  • Provide technical support to Account managers.
  • Maintains document control per AS9100 requirements.
  • Special projects and duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Three to ten years of wire and cable experience.
  • Technical degree or industry equivalent experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of RF electrical characteristics greatly desired.
  • Basic knowledge of computers.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Attention to details.
Pay Range

Pay Range: 86,600.00 - 129,900.00
