Summary

LUTZE designs, manufactures, and markets premium cable, connectivity, and control solutions for the industrial automation and transportation markets. We are a growing company within the rapidly expanding industrial automation industry and are excited to add talent to our sales team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, grow, and maintain strong relationships with electrical distribution channel partners, contractors, OEMs, and industrial end users to drive sales volume and market penetration.
  • Utilize in‑depth knowledge of industrial electrical products, wire and cable, connectivity, and control solutions to support customers and distribution partners.
  • Implement channel strategies that increase product visibility, stocking programs, demand creation, and conversion of competitive products.
  • Provide product training and technical demonstrations to distributors, rep agencies, and end users, highlighting the value of LUTZE’s cable, wiring, and automation solutions.
  • Identify new business opportunities through market research, competitive analysis, and collaboration with local and regional partners.
  • Plan and execute territory business strategies, including forecasting, territory mapping, and channel development initiatives.
  • Manage regional manufacturing representatives by establishing targets, conducting regular joint sales visits, and supporting strategic business plans.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts and channel partners—supporting pricing, negotiations, issue resolution, and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct lunch‑and‑learns, technical presentations, and field visits to increase product awareness and competency within the channel.
  • Track all opportunities, customer interactions, and sales activities using CRM tools to ensure accurate reporting and pipeline visibility.
  • Participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and regional events relevant to industrial and electrical markets.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams including Inside Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Product Management.
  • Travel approximately 50% within the assigned territory, with additional travel as needed.
Qualifications
  • Proven success as a Regional Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, or Inside/Outside Sales professional in the industrial, electrical, wire & cable, automation, or electrical distribution industries.
  • Strong understanding of industrial cable types, wiring systems, power & control cables, connectivity products, and related channel sales models.
  • Experience working with or selling through electrical distributors, manufacturer rep agencies, and OEM channels.
  • Knowledge of effective sales techniques including solution selling, demand creation, territory management, and distributor engagement.
  • Ability to conduct high‑impact product demonstrations, technical presentations, and training sessions for channel partners and end users.
  • Highly developed communication skills—verbal, written, and interpersonal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills, self‑motivation, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
