Position: NEMT Wheelchair Van Driver

About the Role:
We’re looking for dedicated drivers to join our team and help make a difference in people’s lives. As a Wheelchair Van Driver, you’ll safely transport patients to and from their homes, medical appointments, dialysis treatments, and hospital discharges. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in providing excellent service, enjoys working with people, and values safety and reliability. Contract regulations require clean background, driving record and must be at 23 years of age.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport clients and assist them in and out of the vehicle.
  • Ensure wheelchairs and passengers are properly secured before driving.
  • Provide courteous, professional support to clients and caregivers during trips.
  • Keep vehicles clean inside and out (car washing membership provided).
  • Complete pre- and post-trip inspections using company software.
  • Follow all company safety protocols and policies.
  • Stay connected with dispatch and adapt to changing schedules.
  • Represent the company with a positive, helpful attitude at all times.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and assist clients as needed.
  • Comfortable with bending, reaching, and extended driving.

  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, and MVR screening.
  • Dependability: on-time, in uniform, and ready to work.
