U.S. Water is a fast paced and rapidly expanding company headquartered in New Port Richey, Florida with a staff of over 950 employees in twenty states.

Job Location: Fort Pierce, FL

The Welder/Fabricator will be responsible for welding, assembling, and inspecting components to ensure they meet our quality standards. This role requires expertise in ASME welding techniques, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform ASME welding operations according to engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment, including but not limited to GMAW and GTAW welding machines.
  • Fabricate and assemble components using ASME welding techniques, ensuring proper fit and alignment.
  • Inspect welded joints for defects and make necessary adjustments or repairs to meet quality standards.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries in the workplace.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Welder or in a similar welding role.
  • Proficiency in ASME welding techniques, including GMAW and GTAW welding.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of welding equipment and tools, including setup and maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
