Role Description The Welding Crew Chief is responsible for leading and coordinating a team of welders and fabricators on-site in Dallas, TX in a contract role. This position oversees day-to-day operations, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring work meets quality, safety, and compliance standards. The role involves reading and interpreting blueprints and welding symbols, planning work sequences, and verifying that materials and equipment are ready for each project. The Welding Crew Chief actively participates in welding and fabrication work, inspects completed welds, troubleshoots issues, and communicates with supervisors or clients about project status.
