Job description

We are a Welding Contractor specializing in industrial maintenance and repair for cement plants across the region. We are seeking a skilled Welder/Repairman who can work safely, efficiently, and independently in demanding industrial environments. Pay will be determined based on experience.
Position Overview
The Welder/Repairman will perform welding, fabrication, and mechanical repairs on heavy equipment and plant components within cement facilities. This role requires strong technical ability, problem‐solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on structural steel, chutes, hoppers, conveyors, and plant equipment
• Repair and maintain industrial machinery and components
• Fabricate parts as needed based on drawings or field measurements
• Conduct inspections to identify wear, damage, or safety hazards
• Work in confined spaces, elevated areas, and dusty environments typical of cement plants
• Follow all MSHA and site‐specific safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to complete jobs on schedule
Qualifications
• 3+ years of welding and industrial repair experience (cement plant experience preferred)
• Proficiency in Stick welding (7018/6010), cutting, and fabrication
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and measurements
• Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment
• MSHA certified preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and travel to job sites as needed
• Must be reliable, safety‐focused, and able to work in physically demanding conditions
