Job Description

As aRepairOperatorLead, youare a critical function of our pooling operation. You willrepair damaged containers to be put back into inventory to beutilizedfor our customers. This role will also entail driving a forklifttoact on inventory management and support our team's operation from a repair and scrapdeterminationstandpoint.1st shift - Monday-Friday6:00 AM -2:30 PM

Qualifications:

  • Technicaland maintenanceexpertise of relevant tools(ex. drill, drader gun, ratchet, hammer, screwdriver)

  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.

  • Ability to direct Team members to ensureprocessefficiency

  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures relevant to forklift operationsas well as when utilizing power tools.

  • Ability totransportcontainers that weigh 225lbsthrough use of a pallet jack

  • Demonstrated expertise in container repair processes and quality standards.

  • Ability to train, coach, and provide work direction to peers and temporary personnel.

Duties:

  • Safety and Compliance

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operatingtools.

  • Maintain awareness of pedestrian and vehicle traffic in the work area.

  • Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment daily.

  • Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors immediately.

  • Repairing Containers

  • Containers and lids are repaired in accordance with our quality assurance specificationsand then placed back into washable inventory

  • Documentationof Processes

  • Following Scrap or Repair, the container is documented intotheappropriate database

  • Quality assurance support through partnership with QA Lead

  • AssistingtheQA lead to complete collection inspectionsthroughforklift support andprovidingguidance on repairable/scrap containers.

  • Partnership through attending Quality meetings with the compliance team when necessary

  • Inventory Management

  • Awaiting Repair and Awaiting Teardown (or Scrap) container storagedaily management

  • Supporting theshipment ofScrap Loads

  • Weekly Count of Non-SKU inventory items (container feet, bolts, gaskets, plastic injection welding material, etc..)

  • Repair Process Leadership

  • Serve as the site subject matter expert for container repair standards and best practices.

  • Provide day-to-day guidance to team members regarding repair quality requirements and scrap determination criteria.

  • Train and onboard new repair operators and temporary personnel on repair processes, safety requirements, and quality expectations.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve repair quality, efficiency, and inventory recovery.

  • Partner with Operations and Quality teams to promote compliance with repair specifications and operational standards.

  • Assist in monitoring repair quality and escalating recurring issues to site leadership.
