Welder, Weekend Shift
Shepherdsville, KY

Position Summary: As a Welder at New Flyer in Shepherdsville, you will be responsible for performing various welding tasks to assemble and fabricate components according to specifications. You will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards in our production processes.
Requirements
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
    • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
    • Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG and TIG welders.
    • Perform welding tasks using various welding techniques to fabricate and assemble components.
    • Inspect welds for accuracy, completeness, and quality. Make necessary adjustments as required.
    • Maintain clean and organized work areas. Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
    • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and ensure smooth workflow.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
    • Proven experience as a Welder, preferably in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
    • Proficiency in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
    • Strong knowledge of TIG welding
    • Ability to operate welding equipment and tools effectively.
    • Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds.
    • Physical strength and stamina to perform welding tasks and lift heavy materials.
    • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Hourly Wage Rate: $31.38/hr
Standard Hours: Friday - Sunday, 5:00 am - 5:30 pm
