Description
SAIC is seeking a Web Software Developer to support an IT Service Management effort for USTRANSCOM located at Scott Air Force Base (AFB) in Illinois. The USTC Managed Information Technology Services (MITS) contract is intended to provide strategic, technical, and program management guidance and support services to facilitate the operations and modernization of the combatant command's infrastructure, systems, and applications. This support will be provided to the USTC Command, Control, Communications & Cyber Systems Directorate (TCJ6).
The successful candidate will lead activities related to the USTRANSCOM public website project.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, document, develop (i.e., create and enhance), and maintain public web pages to support USTRANSCOM.
  • Work with other contractors and Government personnel to integrate legacy web pages into USTRANSCOM's new public website.
  • Provide maintenance, sustainment, and evolutionary upgrades to current USTRANSCOM web pages.
  • Adhere to Government and industry web and security standards.
  • Complete minor adjustments coordination with the content owner when required.
  • Assist the webmaster in managing the USTRANSCOM Gatekeeper program by providing administrative oversight and access to essential services restricted to Gatekeepers.

This position is for Monday through Friday, normal business hours. However, employee may be required to provide after-hours and weekend support during planned or emergency events.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience
  • DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI Eligibility
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification
  • Experience with Node.js and React
  • Experience with AppStream and Confluence
  • Experience in JavaScript and HTML
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (specifically Strapi)
  • Experience with AWS Cloud
  • Knowledge of implementing software in a cloud environment that adheres to DOD Security guidelines
  • Experience researching and writing excellent documentation and examples for technical personnel
  • Experience with MS Office toinclude Word, PowerPoint,Visio, Project and Excel
  • Technical writing and documentation skills
  • Configuration and change management experience working directly with/for a Government customer

  • BS/BA
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification
  • Experience working with ServiceNow
  • Experience working with Jira

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
