Kinsa is recruiting for a: Warehouse Manager

Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)

A growing food manufacturing company is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead all warehouse operations within an integrated production environment. This role is responsible for driving inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency, material flow, and team performance while partnering closely with Production, Purchasing, Quality, and Sales to support a safe, organized, and high-performing operation.

Key Responsibilities and Goals:
  • Lead all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, kitting, staging, shipping, and material movement to support production.
  • Develop, coach, and lead warehouse supervisors and associates while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inventories, and effective use of NetSuite ERP and warehouse management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, GMP, SQF, and company safety standards while maintaining an organized, audit-ready warehouse.
  • Monitor warehouse performance through KPIs, implementing process improvements that increase productivity, space utilization, and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with Production, Purchasing, Quality, and Sales to ensure timely material availability and efficient flow of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Optimize warehouse operations through SOP development, labor planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Competencies Needed for Success:
  • 5+ years of progressive warehouse leadership experience, preferably within food, beverage, nutraceutical, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Experience managing inventory control, warehouse operations, and material flow in a production environment.
  • Strong proficiency with NetSuite ERP, warehouse management systems (WMS), and inventory management processes.
  • Working knowledge of GMP, SQF, OSHA, and warehouse safety best practices.
  • Demonstrated success developing teams, improving operational performance, and driving accountability through KPIs and continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
