Job description

General Summary:
The Systems Solutions Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting software solutions, system integrations, business applications, data analytics, and automation initiatives that improve operational efficiency and enhance the customer experience. This role bridges business operations and technology by leveraging software development, data, automation, and system integration to deliver scalable solutions that support organizational goals.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain customer- and employee-facing applications, web solutions, self-service portals, dashboards, and internal tools that improve operations, service delivery, workflows, and customer experience.
  • Build and support front-end and back-end components using approved frameworks and technologies.
  • Design and support integrations among business systems, network platforms, and third-party applications through APIs, web services, middleware, and automated data exchanges.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation that reduce manual effort, improve data accuracy, and support enterprise modernization.
  • Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, database objects, reporting datasets, and reliable processes to extract, transform, and integrate data from multiple systems.
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, scorecards, and visualizations; partner with business leaders to define KPIs and automate reporting.
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and availability across systems.
  • Gather and evaluate business requirements, recommend solutions, and translate needs into technical designs and implementation plans.
  • Participate in project planning, testing, deployment, documentation, ongoing support, and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support department and company objectives.

Experience/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Three or more years of experience in software development, systems integration, application development, or analytics.
  • Experience with databases, APIs, enterprise applications,SQL, REST APIs, JSON, XML, Git, web services, and solution design.
  • Programming experience in C#, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, PowerShell, or similar languages.
  • Preferred experience with Microsoft Azure, Power BI, Power Platform, ArcGIS, and telecommunications OSS/BSS systems.
  • Self-starter with curiosity, initiative, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally, work occasional nights or weekends when needed, and maintain a valid Wyoming/Idaho Driver's License.

Working Conditions:
All work is generally performed within an office and public setting environment. There will be regular travel throughout the company service area to market products and services, and out of area travel for training and seminars. Working hours are generally 40-50 hours per week.
