Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse (RN)Help patients regain independence through compassionate, specialized rehabilitation care.

Methodist Rehabilitation Center is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. As a rehabilitation nurse, you'll build meaningful relationships with patients and their families while helping individuals recover from stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, orthopedic conditions, and other complex medical diagnoses.

Unlike traditional acute care settings, you'll have the opportunity to spend quality time with your patients, celebrate their progress, and make a lasting impact on their recovery journey.

What You'll Do
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify individual patient needs.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions based on patient condition and rehabilitation goals.
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care throughout the rehabilitation stay.
  • Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, self-care, and discharge planning.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.
  • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and progress in the electronic medical record.
  • Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition to the interdisciplinary team.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and nursing best practices.
  • Promote a safe, healing environment that supports patient recovery and independence.

Required
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Mississippi.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient education abilities.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Preferred
  • Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Previous rehabilitation, medical-surgical, neurological, orthopedic, or acute care nursing experience.
