A Weekend Walgreens RN Vaccinator is a registered nurse who works at Walgreens locations primarily on weekends to administer vaccines to patients. Their responsibilities include assessing patients' health histories, preparing and giving vaccines (such as flu, COVID-19, or shingles shots), documenting immunizations, and educating patients about vaccine benefits and possible side effects. They also follow strict safety protocols and support pharmacy staff to ensure efficient and accurate vaccine delivery. This role is essential in helping the community access immunizations outside regular weekday hours.

Familiarity with Walgreens' pharmacy systems, electronic health records, and vaccine management tools is typically required. Outstanding communication, efficiency, and customer service skills set top performers apart in this role. These competencies ensure safe, accurate vaccine delivery while providing a positive patient experience during high-volume weekend shifts.
