About this Position

Brand Management is seeking a Project Management Coordinator to ensure OSU’s marketing and communications work meets deadlines and objectives from request to delivery. This role is the day-to-day engine of the team's project management system — entering, tracking and updating projects in the project management system, maintaining timelines and calendars, and helping ensure work stays organized, on schedule and on brand. The coordinator also coordinates the university's photo and video production, scheduling and confirming shoots and fielding multimedia requests, and serves as steward of OSU's visual archive of photos and videos through active digital asset management.

This individual will utilize skills in project coordination, scheduling, digital asset management and cross-team communication to support the operational systems of the department, while ensuring consistent tracking and alignment with campus, college and division priorities. These efforts align with OSU's strategic marketing and communications plan which prioritizes recruitment, retention and reputation management.

Must have an understanding of project management software and workflows, digital asset management practices, and the coordination required to support high-volume creative production. The individual should demonstrate organization, attention to detail, responsiveness and a service orientation in support of Oklahoma State University.

Our areas of expertise include media relations, crisis communications, internal/external messaging, branding, advertising, recruitment communications, visual media, digital strategy and more. This office aims to elevate Oklahoma State University’s profile by showcasing programs, resources and expertise as well as garner recognition for its efforts within the state, nation and world.

Required Qualifications
  • High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • Two years of experience in project coordination, administrative support, scheduling or a related area. One year of customer service and/or clerical experience. 

    Post-secondary education may substitute for years of required experience. 

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to track multiple projects and deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's
