We’re a growing nonprofit led by a passionate Executive Director and a committed Board of Directors, focused on creating lasting impact across the Liberty Road corridor. As we continue to strengthen our operations and expand our reach, we’re seeking an exceptional Executive & Program Assistant to help support our daily operations, board coordination, events, and community programs.

This is a meaningful opportunity for someone who is highly organized, adaptable, and ready to play a key role in helping a community-based nonprofit thrive.

Who We’re Looking For

You’re the type of person who keeps everything—and everyone—on track. You’re organized, proactive, and eager to contribute to meaningful community work.

You can:

  • Manage calendars, meetings, and communication with precision and professionalism.
  • Communicate clearly and warmly—whether drafting an email, posting on social media, or interacting with community members.
  • Balance multiple projects while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
  • Navigate tools like Google Workspace, Canva, Zoom, and Eventbrite with ease.
  • Travel throughout the Greater Baltimore area as needed to support meetings, community events, and local partnerships.

You take initiative, solve problems quickly, and maintain a positive attitude even when priorities shift.

What You’ll Do

Executive & Board Support

  • Manage the Executive Director’s schedule, appointments, and communications.
  • Coordinate board meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and maintain organized digital records.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for GRCDO inquiries and general communications.
  • Support internal operations, record-keeping, and task follow-up.

Event & Community Engagement

  • Provide on-site support at community meetings, outreach activities, and events (including evenings and weekends).
  • Manage logistics for board and community events, including event setup, registration, and follow-up.
  • Create and manage event listings on Eventbrite and social media.

Communications & Social Media

  • Design and schedule 2–3 weekly posts across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Draft engaging community updates, newsletters, and announcements.
  • Maintain a consistent and professional brand voice across all platforms.

Project Coordination

  • Track action items, deadlines, and deliverables for key initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support for the implementation of GRCDO’s strategic priorities.
  • Assist with program data collection, reporting, and communications follow-up.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in administration, communications, or program coordination.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills with a professional tone.
  • Excellent organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Zoom, Canva, and social media management.
  • Ability to commute frequently throughout the Greater Baltimore area for meetings and events.
  • A dedicated workspace at home with functioning internet and the ability to participate in virtual meetings without interruption.
  • Flexibility to work from home when appropriate, while being available for in-person engagement as needed.
  • High emotional intelligence and genuine passion for community development.

Compensation & Perks

  • $30/hour (Part-Time, Non-Exempt)
  • Flexible scheduling (with required evening and weekend availability)
  • Professional development and growth opportunities
  • Mileage reimbursement for approved travel
  • Opportunity to make a visible impact and help shape the future of Randallstown
