Weekend Night Shift
Regency Healthcare and Rehab Center strives to provide comfort, happiness, and the highest quality care to each of our residents. We are currently seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RN's) to join our team! Our employees enjoy competitive pay and benefits while supporting and encouraging one another in our day-to-day tasks.
Weekend Night Shift: 6pm-6am
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure safety for all residents
  • Assess and document the resident's condition and nursing need
  • Accurately and promptly implement physician's orders
  • Initiate and lead team conferences in development of individualized nursing care plans
  • Supervise and direct LPN's, LVN's, and CNA's
  • Administer medications, start IV's, and perform treatments for residents
  • Keep resident's environment clean and free of clutter
  • Obtain resident vital signs
  • Answer resident call lights and ensure that residents who are unable to call for help are checked frequently
  • Follow safety/infection control precautions
  • Follow hand-washing procedures during your daily duties
  • Assist with meal tray set-up and assist with resident meals as needed. Ensure that all meals, snacks, and fluids are recorded
  • Document on flow sheets as directed
  • Assist in transporting residents to activities, therapy, etc
  • Report all complaints or grievances to the Nurse Supervisor/Director of Nursing/Administrator or Social Worker
  • Immediately report all suspected incidents of abuse to the Abuse Coordinator
  • Immediately report all incidents/accidents to your Nurse Supervisor no matter how minor they may be
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

Educational Requirements and Experience:
  • Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
  • Valid RN license in the state of Alabama
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Minimum one year nursing experience preferred
  • Minimum one year SNF experience highly preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
  • Ability to work effectively with the residents, their family members, and at all levels of the facility
  • Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
