  • Primary Objective: The Equipment Maintenance Technician is a senior technical position responsible for providing advanced-level technical support, training junior technicians, and developing complex troubleshooting skills. This role will work under the guidance of principal technicians and engineers to develop their technical and leadership skills.

Shift: B Shift- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday in week one, and Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Saturday in week two, from 6:55pm - 7:10am. This role offers a 15% differential
Tool Area: Etch Department
  • Major Areas of Accountability:

  • Provide advanced-level technical support for equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Have advanced knowledge and experience on one main platform in the Etch area such as: LAM Alliance, LAM 2300 Exelan, TEL Unity M/ME, AMAT Centura DPS Metal/Poly/SuperE, LAM DaVinci wet etch sinks, or Mattson Aspen II.
  • Train junior technicians on advanced level PMs and complex troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans for multiple toolsets.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues using complex troubleshooting and junior technician assistance.
  • Participate in equipment projects and provide technical expertise.
  • Entry level leadership skills for the Maintenance group lead role.

  • Required Qualifications:

  • Two-year degree in engineering, electronics, or equivalent experience (5-10 years).
  • Intermediate training with junior technicians.
  • General area knowledge.
  • Equivalent experience of 5-10 years.
  • Ability to train and mentor junior technicians.
