Schedule
  • Saturdays and Sundays for Fall baseball

*This position is seasonal, active August through October and may offer options for further seasons.
Other Details
  • New umpires are trained to officiate at machine-pitch and coach-pitch games for 6-9 year old players.
  • Experienced umpires officiate at games for players 6-15 years old.

Requirements
  • Umpires must be at least 15 years of age with a good understanding of baseball and/or softball or interest in learning.
  • Must be able to work a flexible work schedule that includes week day evenings and weekend daytime and evening shifts
  • Works well independently and with of co-workers
  • Punctuality

Physical Requirements
  • Physical fitness and stamina to keep up with the pace of the game
  • Constant standing, walking and exposure to the weather outdoors
  • Frequent walking/running, eye/hand/foot coordination, talking and hearing
