Schedule: Full Time, Mon-Fri | Day/Evening shift | No Holidays/Weekend/Call

How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Ensure Surgical Precision: Inspect, assemble, and evaluate complex surgical instruments and sets to guarantee 100% completeness and readiness, directly impacting seamless operating room performance and patient safety.

  • Master Decontamination & Sterilization: Expertly process soiled instruments and operate advanced sterilization equipment according to strict protocols and IFUs, maintaining the highest standards of infection control.

  • Maintain Accurate Set Standards: Utilize digital tracking systems and count sheets to meticulously organize instrument sets, ensuring surgeons have the exact tools they need for every procedure.

  • Optimize Inventory & Case Preparation: Proactively manage and replenish inventory levels to build complete, timely case carts that keep surgical schedules running without delay.

  • Drive Quality Assurance: Conduct regular peer quality audits to foster a culture of continuous improvement, shared accountability, and clinical excellence across the central sterile team.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:  

  • Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association Preferred.
  • Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) Preferred.

Education:

  •  High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
What additional requirements you'll need

CRCST, CIS preferred. 

Prior experience in Sterile Processing.
