  • Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts
  • Shift: 8:00 PM – 8:30 AM
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
  • Patient Population: Adults – Geriatrics
  • Average Daily Census: 18
  • Unit Size: 24 beds
  • Patient Ratio: 1:5
  • Scrub Color: Navy
Required License & Certification
  • Active Maryland RN License
  • BLS
Patient Population & Diagnoses

Experience with general Med/Surg Telemetry patients, including:

  • TIA
  • COPD and other respiratory conditions
  • Urology
  • Gynecology
  • Cellulitis and wound care
  • Palliative care
  • Infectious processes
  • Gastrointestinal conditions
  • Early post-operative recovery
  • Observation patients >24 hours
  • TR band management following cardiac catheterization without intervention
Unit Details
  • Mixed Med/Surg and Telemetry unit
  • Provides care for a broad adult and geriatric patient population
Scheduling Requirements
  • Weekends: Every other weekend required
  • Holidays: Required as scheduled
  • Floating: Required within the specialty, as well as to other units and sister SRH facilities within scope.
