This is an Assistant Manager Trainee Position:
Rainforest Carwash and Oil Change is seeking candidates for Quick Lube Assistant Manager Trainee in the Petal and Hattiesburg areas. We are looking for someone with previous management experience that can help manage one of our Quick Lubes. As you learn to manage one of our shops, you will be eligible for increases in salary and bonus pay. Here you will be an important member of a growing team. We are here to help you grow and provide you with the tools necessary for your success.

Job duties include:
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft tools and general computer skills
  • Must have previous experience managing a business, hiring employees, and handling cash
  • Automotive maintenance or mechanical experience is a plus
  • Five day work week
  • Normally home by 8 pm (some days earlier)
  • 45 hour work week
  • Expect to work weekends
  • You will train to run the day to day operations of the shop
  • Checking engine air filters
  • Checking cabin air filters
  • Checking tire pressure
  • Checking & changing wiper blades
  • Change oil and filter in under 10 minutes
  • Make oil recommendations that meet the vehicle specifications
  • Identify and inform customers of leaks, damage, or services that may require immediate attention before next visit.
  • Teamwork
  • Maintaining a clean well organized shop/work space for our customers to enjoy
  • A comprehensive knowledge of current and older model vehicles may be required in order to explain the maintenance needs of the vehicle to the customer.
  • Must be able to stand for a long periods of time
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Salary Description
$13 - $14 / hour based on experience.
