Position Title: Harvest TechnicianReports To: Team Leads and Supervisors FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Revision Date: 9/4/2025 Job SummaryThe Harvest Technician is responsible for executing all tasks associated with the harvest phase of cannabis cultivation. This includes harvesting, bucking, drying, sanitation, and inventory-related duties, while maintaining compliance, cleanliness, and adherence to company SOPs.Key Responsibilities Identify, chop, and transport plants with precision and cleanliness.Sanitize work areas and clean bins to meet high sanitation standards.Follow all compliance protocols, including green waste handling.Work independently or within a team to meet daily goals.Climb ladders safely to load/unload drying areas.Buck flowers efficiently to prepare for trimming.Monitor quality and resolve any product concerns."Burp" bins regularly to ensure proper drying and terpene preservation.Adapt to workflow changes and shifting production needs.Remain available for weekend shifts as required.Qualifications Observe and follow safety protocols and facility security procedures.Punctual, dependable, and ready to contribute to a productive team environment.Adaptable to changing procedures, work environments, and company needs.Positive attitude, respectful demeanor, and willingness to assist co-workers.Ability to comprehend detailed instructions and SOPs in English.Strong organizational, documentation, and inventory management skills.Consistent in following harvest techniques and production timelines.Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and meet physical demands of the role.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here represent those necessary to perform essential job duties.
