Job description

About Us

Bellevue Lighting specializes in creating immersive audiovisual and lighting experiences for events, performances, and installations. We’re a team of highly skilled, creative professionals who thrive on innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence. We are looking for multiple experienced technicians to join our crew for an ongoing, part-time role.

This is not a labor list—we’re seeking skilled professionals who take ownership of their craft, contribute to creative problem-solving, and help execute high-quality productions.

Role Overview

As a Crew Member, you’ll be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting lighting, video, and audio systems for a wide range of events and installations. This role is perfect for experienced technicians who want consistent, high-level work without committing to a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, program, and operate lighting, video, and sound systems for live events, theatrical productions, and installations.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain audiovisual equipment to ensure seamless execution.
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and fellow technicians to bring creative visions to life.
  • Assist with load-ins, technical rehearsals, and show operation.
  • Ensure all equipment meets ETCP and OSHA safety standards.
  • Adapt to last-minute changes with a professional and solution-oriented mindset.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in audiovisual, lighting, or live event production.
  • Proficiency with lighting consoles (ETC, Chamsys), sound systems (Dante, QLab, digital mixers), and video equipment (projection, LED walls, media servers).
  • Experience with networked AV systems, power distribution, and rigging.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
Preferred but Not Required
  • ETCP Certification or equivalent training.
  • Experience with special effects, automation, or interactive installations.
  • Background in theatrical lighting, live music, or film production.
Why Join Us?
  • Ongoing, part-time opportunities with a company that values skill and creativity.
  • Work on high-profile events and installations.
  • Collaborate with top-tier designers, technicians, and creative teams.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and specialized training.
  • A dynamic, supportive, and innovative work environment.
