Job description

Salary Range:$49,001.94 - $73,985.60

Works under the direction of the Teen Learning Lab Manager to lead the implementation of instructionalย 
workshops and crash courses that introduce students to video and photo production concepts. Creates and schedules programming and events to engage students and facilitate student-driven initiatives byย 
encouraging involvement of students in the space. Evaluates programming and other special initiatives,ย 
such as summer camps and community outreach, Develops Cloud90l procedures for student access andย 
allocation of project storage in the Video Lab. Manages materials and other inventory for regular andย 
special programming such as summer camps and strategic partnership projects. Optimizes Cloud90lย 
operations by implementing and evaluating hardware/software to make sure all programs are up-to-date.ย 
Works with students, community stakeholders, and library staff in outreach activities. Engages andย 
coordinates with Educational Liaison Coordinator regarding the incorporation of Cloudg0l services withย 
local school district academic standards. Creates, displays, and provides tours of Cloud90l to educateย 
prospective students, parents, teachers, and funders on project-based learning experiences and projectย 
outcomes. Conducts needs assessments to identify teen needs in order to create services, programs, andย 
increase Cloud90l teen engagement. Constructs and executes video production and photo programย 
curriculum and metrics for Cloud90l. Collaborates with Cloud90l Manager on activities, includingย 
personnel matters, reporting/statistics and training, and creating goals and plans for improvements to the overall program. Attends professional! trainings and workshops on opportunities related to youth servicesย 
to strengthen program quality and identify new ways to cultivate positive relationships between staff andย 
teens.
ย 

Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, Video Production, Digital Media, and or Photography and three (3) yearsย 
of related experience; or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform theย 
essential job functions. Professional production experience in dealing with recording video and audio forย 
digital platforms preferred. Experience working with teenagers {ages 13-18) from various backgroundsย 
preferred. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite Program required. Video Editing and special effectsย 
experience required.

OTHER FUNCTIONS:
Performs additional functions (essential or otherwise) which may be assigned.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Requires the ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing with management, staff, and theย 
general public. Requires the use of general office equipment such as computer, copier, far machine, andย 
telephone. Requires to ability to Iift and carry up to 50!bs without assistance.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Majority of work is performed in a public library environment. Facilitating in enclosed area of the Videoย 
Production Lab at Cloud90l Teen Learning Lab. Some work in outside conditions with teens to filmย 
projects in different locations required. Work involves contact with the public. May be subject to work inย 
different weather conditions such as heat, rain, or cold. May be required to work occasional nights andย 
weekends.
