Job description

Position / Specialty ER tech
Shift: 5x8's, 3pm- 11:30pm. No block scheduling
Call Requirements: N/A
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend/ 2 weekends per month
RTO: 5 days max with no more than 2 consecutive. No holiday RTO. No RTO the day prior or after a holiday. No RTO on weekends.
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Cook is a MANDATORY FLOAT FACILITY, all resources are required to float at the facilities discretion.
Locals accepted: Yes - locals preferred. Milage radius for local candidates is within 75 miles of the facility. Local BR is $5 less
Guaranteed Hours: 40
Minimum Qualifications
โ€ข High school diploma or GED equivalent OR Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B) in the State of Illinois
โ€ข Five (5) years of work experience within the last eight years providing direct patient care in an Emergency Department or pre-hospital environment (i.e., ambulance services)
โ€ข Ability to read and interpret EKG strips
Certs REQ: BLS, ACLS
Preferred Qualifications
โ€ข Currently licensed as an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (EMT-P) in the State of
Illinois
โ€ข Recent (within last two years) experience/participation in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
