FLSA Status: Exempt
Position Summary:
The Teacher is responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons that meet academic standards and address the diverse needs of all students. The Teacher fosters a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that promotes academic achievement, social-emotional growth, and lifelong learning skills.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
  • Differentiate instruction to accommodate various learning styles, abilities, and backgrounds.
  • Assess student progress using formal and informal assessments and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate student records, grades, and documentation in accordance with school policies.
  • Establish and maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages respect, responsibility, and collaboration.
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress, needs, and achievements.
  • Integrate technology and other resources to enhance student engagement and learning.
