Job Title: Surgical Technologist

Hours per Shift: 40 hours per week
Experience: 2 years CV scrub experience
License: Not required
Certifications: CST, BLS
Must-Have:
3 years CV scrub experience
Ability to go on bypass
Description:
Must have cardiovascular experience.
Unit features 12 surgical suites with approximately 20 cases per day.
Common cases include CABG, MVR, AVR, kidney transplant, robotics, peripheral vascular, thoracic, aortic repair, vascular access, hybrid procedures (TEVAR/EVAR, TAVR), Impella, IABP, and ECMO.
Ideal candidates will possess experience scrubbing in a fast-paced, complex environment.
The program requires highly-skilled, experienced staff.
Candidates must be able to adapt to various surgeons and utilize prior experience effectively.
High acuity environment requires a strong knowledge base in general OR practices.
Mandatory call and weekend requirements are in place, with a response time of 30 minutes.
Weekly scheduling includes all shifts to provide 24/7 in-house coverage.
Floating requirements do not apply.
Unit/department specific orientation will be provided.
Candidates should be prepared for a dynamic surgical environment.
