Job Title: Surgical Tech

Shift: 10H Days

Hours per Shift: 10 hours

Experience: Minimum 1 year

License: None required

Certifications: BLS Certification Must-Have: Strong orthopedic experience

Description: Unit has 3 operating rooms. Number of cases per day ranges from 10 to 12. No clinical involvement required. Common cases include orthopedics, podiatry, pain management, breast surgery, gynecology, general surgery, and occasional urology. Call requirements include a minimum of 4 weekdays, 1 Friday, and 1 weekend (Saturday/Sunday) every six weeks. Minimum of 2 holiday calls required per year. Call response time is 30 minutes. Floating to work as needed. Scrub color and dress code consist of hospital-provided scrubs. Unit-specific orientation is provided based on time requirements. Charting system used is Cerner.
