Job Description
Shape the next generation of healthcare providers through high-impact nursing education delivered across classroom, clinical, lab, and simulation settings-including flexible evening and weekend classes on our Chicago campus.
In this campus-based role, you will teach, mentor, and evaluate our evening and weekend students while contributing to curriculum, service, and scholarship in alignment with Chamberlain's mission.
Availability:
  • Monday - Thursday 1-9 pm
  • Friday - 8-5pm
  • Possibly some Saturdays

What You'll Do
Teaching & Student Success
  • Deliver engaging nursing instruction across classroom, online, clinical, lab, and simulation environments using technology and evidence-based methods
  • Create inclusive, student-centered learning experiences; identify individual needs and foster meaningful relationships
  • Evaluate student performance; provide timely, constructive feedback and remediation
  • Lead or support clinical learning experiences; connect theory to practice and ensure safe, ethical, and professional practice readiness

Curriculum & Academic Excellence
  • Contribute to curriculum development and implement course materials
  • Maintain academic standards by enforcing policies (attendance, exams, grading, late work)
  • Ensure all work aligns with licensure, regulatory, and accreditation requirements
  • Use technology, data, and AI tools to enhance teaching and student outcomes

Mentorship, Service & Collaboration
  • Provide coaching and support to students and new faculty

Qualifications
Education
  • Master's Degree in a relevant field - Required
  • PhD in a relevant field - Preferred

Additional Information
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $97,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
