Job description

Overview
A Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining and cleaning floors, including carpets and hard surfaces, on the property. Their duties involve cleaning, repairing, and refinishing floors using specialized equipment and cleaning solutions. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to operate floor cleaning machines, and adherence to safety procedures. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company's brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. - Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity).
Responsibilities
  • Sweeping, Mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing and buffing floors.
  • Equipment operating. Using floor cleaning machines such as buffers, scrubbers and extractors.
  • Adhering to safety guidelines and reporting maintenance issues.
  • Performing tasks such as carpet spotting, bonnet cleaning and extracting.
  • Assisting with other cleaning duties as needed, including dusting, cleaning walls and furniture.
  • Maintaining an inventory of floor areas, scheduling cleaning duties, and reporting maintenance needs to supervisors.
