Job description

Lead Operator will ensure all the company’s safety, food safety plan and CGMP policies are being followed. The lead will be in constant communication with the Production Supervisor/Manager to ensure all production goals are being met.  
  • Ensure all employees adhere to all the company’s safety guidelines.  
  • Ensure the food safety plan and CGMPs are being followed: report any non-compliance anomalies to the management. 
  • Must be able to operate all areas in the rendering; Receiving, Cooker, Feather, Grinding Room, Load Out, Yard Dog, Forklift, Skid, Street Sweeper, and Yard Cart. 
  • Ensure cleanliness of the rendering and offal areas.  
  • Review food safety documents before final review by PCQI. 
  • Fill in for all absentees. 
  • Any other duties as assigned by management.  
 
Minimum Requirements: 
  • Must be able to communicate in oral and written formats. 
  • Must understand the fundamental principles of manufacturing.  
  • Must possess effective communication skills.
