Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Prep Cook to join our stadium culinary team and support high‑volume production for games, concerts, and major events. This role requires speed, precision, and a strong commitment to food safety and premium-quality service. Key Responsibilities

• Execute large‑batch prep work including chopping, slicing, portioning, marinating, and organizing ingredients for thousands of guests.

• Follow recipes, portioning, and production specs accurately to ensure consistent, premium-quality food every time.

• Maintain an organized, sanitized, and efficient workstation throughout prep and service.

• Adhere to all food safety standards, including temperature control, handwashing, and safe chemical handling.

• Wear and properly use required PPE such as gloves, cut‑resistant gloves, aprons, closed‑toe/non‑slip shoes, and other protective equipment.

• Support line cooks and chefs with a team-first mindset, stepping in wherever needed.

• Label, date, rotate, and store all food products according to HACCP and company standards.

• Assist with receiving shipments, stocking, and controlling inventory to reduce waste.

• Deliver exceptional service by ensuring all prep supports a top-tier fan experience.

• Maintain professionalism and positivity during long, fast-paced event days.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a stadium, arena, or large-volume production kitchen preferred.

• Strong knife skills and familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment.

• Ability to work quickly while maintaining high accuracy and premium food quality.

• Strong attention to detail when prepping ingredients and following specs.

• Reliable, punctual, and committed to building a strong team culture.

• Ability to communicate effectively in a busy, high-energy environment.

Safety & PPE Requirements

• Follow all company, local, and federal food safety regulations.

• Properly use required PPE at all times (gloves, cut-resistant gloves, protective aprons, etc.).

• Follow safe equipment operation practices for slicers, mixers, knives, and hot equipment.

• Maintain clean surfaces, proper sanitation, and safe food handling from prep to storage.

• Report any unsafe conditions or equipment issues immediately.

Schedule Requirements

• Long shifts (10–12+ hours on major event days)

• Nights and weekends

• Holidays

• All game days, concert days, and large event days

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand 8–12 hours on hard kitchen floors.

• Frequent bending, reaching, walking, lifting, and carrying up to 40 lbs.

• Exposure to hot equipment, cold walk-ins, loud environments, and continuous movement.

• Comfortable working in a high-volume, high-energy stadium setting.

Job Summary


Summary:  Prepares food in accordance with applicable federal, state and corporate standards, guidelines and regulations with established policies and procedures. Ensures quality food service is provided at all times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
  • Prepares items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes.
  • Completes and follows daily production worksheets and waste log sheets. Tastes completed meals to ensure quality.
  • Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures after each use.
  • Stores, labels and dates all food items according to policy. Follows HACCP guidelines.
  • Completes all required documentation, reports, logs as required.
  • Complies with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
  • Takes orders from customer and prepare items requiring short preparation time.
  • Serves customers in an efficient and friendly manner.
  • Completes orders from steam tables and grill and serves customers at multiple stations.
  • Uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
  • Operates and cleans equipment per department procedures after each use.
  • Stores, labels and dates all food items according to policy.
  • Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
  • Resolves customer concerns.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to perform a variety of tasks depending on daily needs.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
