A leader in acute inpatient rehabilitation on Long Island, St. Charles Campus provides specialized care for patients recovering from conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and orthopedic injuries. Job Details
Our Clinical Nursing Supervisor will:
  • Manage daily clinical nursing operations to ensure the hospital standards and needs are met.
  • Be responsible for preparation and evaluation of nursing staff activities and schedules to ensure 24 hour coverage.
  • Serve as the managerial and clinical link between the Nurse Manager and/or Department Director in their absence and the administrator on call
  • Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, Registered Nurses (RNs), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support, and education.

What you'll bring:
  • Passion for Nursing Leadership
  • 3+ Years acute care clinical RN experience
  • Prior house-wide Nursing Supervision experience preferred; critical care/emergency nursing experience preferred
  • 2-5+ Years leadership/healthcare management experience preferred
  • Knowledge of hospital and nursing policies and procedures, as well as regulatory agency requirements, and establishment of staffing patterns and schedules.
  • Candidate must be able to handle stressful situations, and exercise considerable judgement in applying professional knowledge in solving administrative/operational problems.
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required
  • Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.

Posted Salary Range
USD $56.00 - USD $69.00 /Hr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
