Description
High PSI LTD, a leading industrial pressure washer distributor in Glendale Heights, is seeking a Pressure Wash Repair and Service Road Technician to join our team. This role involves both in-shop repairs and on-site service calls, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining industrial pressure washers, steam cleaners, waste oil furnaces, and other small-engine equipment.
We provide on-the-job training, but candidates with experience in pump systems, HVAC, small engine repair, electrical, plumbing, and/or hot water (burner) systems are preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, estimate, and repair industrial pressure washers and related equipment.
  • Travel to customer job sites throughout the Chicagoland area to perform repairs and maintenance.
  • Load and unload trucks with equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Set up and test new machines before delivery.
  • Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate with customers to provide repair estimates, technical support, and product recommendations.
  • Identify and upsell accessories, detergents, and parts when on-site.

Requirements
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills with experience in electrical, plumbing, and motor repair (gas, diesel, electric).
Experience diagnosing and estimating repair costs for machinery.
Comfortable with driving to and from customer locations for service calls.
Valid driver's license required; must meet age requirements for operating company vehicles..
Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
Strong customer service and communication skills (in-person and over the phone).
Familiarity with the Chicagoland area and ability to navigate efficiently.
Basic computer skills, including email and use of tablets and PCs.
Spanish-speaking skills are a plus but not required.
Must supply most of your own tools.
Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
