Small Engine Mechanic Job DescriptionPosition Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Small Engine Mechanic to join our team. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining small engines and related equipment, ensuring safe, efficient, and dependable performance. The ideal candidate has mechanical experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality service.
Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair small engines, including lawn mowers, chainsaws, generators, ATVs, pressure washers, and other related equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tune-ups, blade sharpening, filter replacements, and spark plug checks.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues.
  • Order and install replacement parts as needed.
  • Maintain accurate service records, including repairs, parts used, and work performed.
  • Ensure shop tools, equipment, and work areas are clean, organized, and safe.
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs, estimated costs, and maintenance recommendations.
