This position is critical to the ministry of Sky Ranch and contributes directly to our mission of leading youth and families to know and follow ChristThe Videography Coordinator supports the mission of Sky Ranch by creating and organizing video content to be utilized by the various departments. This position will lead and execute all videography efforts for Sky Ranch as well as recruit, hire and assist in training/leading the Summer Media Team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Set up and tear down video shoots.
  • Organize people, location, staff, equipment and lead the scripting and cinematography of the video for all Sky Ranch locations and various program needs.
  • Managing and organizing all video content in an easily accessible repository, providing needed b-roll and video content as requested.
  • Lead video editor - includes editing all Sky Ranch footage, storing, and organizing footage on Sky Ranch Vimeo and YouTube accounts and making collateral available to various staff.
  • Recruit, hire, help train, and support the Summer Media Team in a leadership role.
  • Maintain best practices documentation for all responsibilities.
  • Make site visits for collateral collection to all locations throughout the year.
  • Represent the Sky Ranch brand at marketing events and other situations as deemed necessary.
  • Provide general support to all departments as needed.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain compliance with Sky Ranch's employee policies and procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the organization by providing exceptional pictures and videos to promote the various programs/departments of Sky Ranch.
  • Perform other duties as required.

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
  • Equipment used for job duties.

QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's Degree in videography, advertising, communications, marketing or related field.

EXPERIENCE
  • In-depth understanding in the field of videography and audio visual.

KNOWLEDGE
  • Adobe editing software like Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom Classic, Media Encoder
  • Audio Visual systems
  • ProPresenter
  • Proficient working knowledge and ability to use various office software including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Physical effort required on a routine basis; ability to use up to 50 pounds of force frequently for moving and carrying objects, including photography and video equipment.
  • Requires some physical agility, including but not limited to: bending for items below or reaching for items above the individual; crawling under desks; stooping, and climbing step stools or ladder.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Works indoors in normal office environment and outdoors during the retreat season.
  • Works indoors and outdoors during the summer camp season, in a noisy and busy environment, exposed to the seasonal weather elements.
  • No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
  • Ability to travel to various geographic locations, including by car, and some overnight stays including weekends.

Commitment to Christian principles and teachings both professionally and personally. Must be able to fully support Sky Ranch's Doctrinal Statement. An active membership in a church whose spiritual beliefs are aligned with Sky Ranch's Doctrinal Statement.

Must demonstrate annually a clear background check and review of child safety practices as required for camp accreditation by the American Camping Association.
