NOW HIRING – 2ND SHIFT MACHINE OPERATORS!
Location: North Fort Worth, TX
Shift: 3:00 PM–11:30 PM Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs.
Pay: $19/hr + $2/hr shift differential once transitioned to 2nd shift
Protech Staffing is hiring experienced Machine Operators for immediate openings in a manufacturing environment. We are looking for candidates with experience operating machinery, working with sheet metal, performing quality checks, and using basic hand tools.
Machine Operator Responsibilities:
- Set up, program, and operate machinery, including de-coil and orbital wrapping equipment
- Cut and process sheet metal from coil stock to required lengths
- Load materials and monitor automated machine operations
- Package finished products using protective stretch film for shipment
- Perform and document quality checks to ensure product accuracy
- Inspect finished products for quality and proper packaging
- Use a tape measure accurately to the 1/16" scale
- Use basic hand tools, including cordless drills, saws, nail/staple guns, and other equipment
- Maintain a safe and efficient work area
Requirements:
- Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred
- Must be fluent in reading a tape measure to the 1/16"
- Experience with automated machinery is a plus
- Forklift experience highly preferred
- Must be able to work the full shift and mandatory overtime as needed
- Must have an updated resume to be considered
