General Description Summary
Test raw materials and in-process batches according to established procedures. This position may also help develop new test methodologies. The Analytical Chemist will utilize the GC, IR, HPLC, as well as other instrumentation, on a daily basis; working with other departments to help resolve issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Test all raw materials according to established protocols; notifying appropriate parties when tests do not meet required specifications
Test all in-process batches according to established protocols; notifying appropriate parties when tests so not meet required specifications
Assist in providing recommendations to salvage in-process batches that do not meet specifications
Work to continually improve testing methodologies and documentation, ensuring the most appropriate and thorough methods are applied
Utilize required instrumentation to complete required tasks
Perform periodic calibration of instrumentations (as trained and required) to ensure the most accurate readings
Collaborate with other departments to find solutions to problems
Performs other duties as assigned

Compensation:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The pay range for this position is $28.00/hr to $37.00/hr. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
