Job Summary:Our client is hiring for Truck Drivers. As a truck driver, you are the face of the company. You will deliver freight to customers on a scheduled delivery route in a safe and efficient manner. Professionalism and accuracy are essential to our customers. Our drivers check and scan each pallet, delivering accompanying paperwork to the customer. At each stop on the route, you will off-load items using a hand truck and ramp and interact with customers. Pay Range:Non CDL $22/ hourlyClass 4 $24/ hourlyCDL A, B, and C $26/ hourlyLoyalty Bonus Program- For each hour worked, a loyalty incentive of $2 per hour will be put into an account for each employee. Loyalty bonuses will be paid out every three months at the beginning of the following quarter (January, April, July, October) license class hourly + $2/hour Loyalty bonus + Shift Commitment Incentive Pay = up to $34/hrShift Commitment Incentive Pay: Pay depends on full shift attendance per week:Tier 1: This tier is the previously called "weekend premium policy"Work a regular weekend schedule of Friday, Saturday, or SundayEarn $2/hour added to base payTier 2:Work 4 full weekday shifts (Mon-Fri)Earn $5/hour added to base payTier 3:Work 5 full shifts per week orWork 3 full weekend shifts (Fri-Sun)Earn $7/hour added to base payBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceDisability insuranceHealth insuranceLife insuranceVision InsuranceVoluntary Accident insurancePaid time offEmployee Assistance ProgramDuties and Responsibilities:Drive a delivery truck on a predetermined route and scheduleLoad and unload the vehicle, deliver items according to instructionsDocument and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receiptsFollow DOT, local, state, and federal regulations as well company policies and proceduresReport safety, security, and theft incidentsEnsure daily safety briefings are conducted at the start of the shiftEnsure compliance with customer information and security requirementsDemonstrate internal and external customer serviceQualifications:Must possess a valid driver's licenseOne year trucking experienceCDL or Class 4 license preferredAt least 21 years of ageAble to work independently and lift up to 75lbsMust pass a background check and drug and alcohol screeningMust be friendly and helpful with a professional dispositionMust have the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environmentMust be conversant in EnglishMust have legal right to work in the United StatesPhysical Requirements:Frequent sitting for prolonged periods of time, stepping in and out of tractor cabs, hand-eye coordination, and good vision. Occasionally exposed to bright or dim lighting conditions, whole-body vibration when driving the truck.
