Licensed in South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida, we provide armed and unarmed officers, mobile patrols, K9 units, and technology-driven security solutions to healthcare facilities, residential communities, commercial properties, schools, and special events across the Southeast.

About the Role

We are hiring a full-time Security Officer to provide overnight security coverage at a hospitality property in the Jacksonville, FL area. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and property. This role requires someone who is reliable, alert, and professional โ€” someone who takes pride in being the person on watch when it matters most.

What You'll Do
  • Monitor the property during overnight hours, ensuring the safety of guests and staff
  • Conduct interior and exterior patrols of the facility and surrounding grounds
  • Control access to the property and verify credentials as needed
  • Respond to guest concerns, disturbances, and security incidents in a calm and professional manner
  • Monitor security cameras and alarm systems
  • Document all activity, incidents, and observations in daily reports
  • Communicate with property management and CSSI dispatch as needed
  • Maintain a visible, professional security presence throughout the shift
Schedule

Full-time overnight shifts. Specific days and hours will be discussed during the interview process. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a Florida Class D Security License
  • Clean criminal background
  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation
  • Strong communication and observation skills
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Ability to work overnight hours, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
  • High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience
  • Experience in hotel, resort, or hospitality security
  • Familiarity with CCTV and access control systems
