Busy Dermatologist office seeking a team player for a full-time clinical position.  The medical/clinical assistant works as part of the health care team by assisting the practice provider in providing high-quality patient care in a professional manner.  The ideal candidate will be energetic and able to remain focused in a busy atmosphere while delivering a high level of customer service.

Job Description
  • Escorting patients to exam rooms
  • Assist provider with exams and procedures, administering medications, and performing tests.
  • Assist patients with aftercare instructions
  • Triage and process messages from patients, front office staff and providers.
  • Clean and restock exam rooms
  • Sterilize instruments
  • Scribing for the providers
Qualifications
  • Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow
  • The ability to perform phlebotomy
  • Candidates must consent to, and pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Job Type:

  • Full-time: Mon-Thurs, 7:45am-5:00/5:30pm and Fridays, 7:45am-2:00pm

Experience:

  • 1-2 years' work experience as a nursing assistant or medical assistant (preferred but required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
