Location: Elkton, MD & Middletown, DE
Job Type: Full-Time
About Us:
Integrated Health 360 is a patient-centered primary care and mental health practice dedicated to bringing back relationship-based medicine. Our team provides compassionate, comprehensive care that integrates mind and body wellness. We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Medical Assistant to join our growing team and support providers who travel between our Elkton and Middletown offices.
Position Summary:
The Medical Assistant will work closely with our providers to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality clinical care. This role requires flexibility, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered service. The candidate must be willing and able to travel between the Elkton and Middletown offices as needed.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and room patients, verify patient information, and prepare them for examination.
  • Record vital signs, medical histories, and medication lists accurately.
  • Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments as needed.
  • Manage patient flow to ensure timely care and efficient scheduling.
  • Perform basic lab tests, collect specimens, and handle point-of-care testing.
  • Administer injections and immunizations per provider direction.
  • Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment in a clean and organized manner.
  • Handle patient phone calls, messages, and prescription refill requests.
  • Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-up appointments.
  • Document all clinical interactions accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Support front-office functions as needed, including check-in/check-out.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program (required).
  • Current MA certification or registration preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical or primary care setting preferred.
  • Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to work between Elkton and Middletown locations.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
